Would you consider sponsoring a stray semi-wild
cat? You
can sponsor
individually, or as a group...do you belong to a club, have workmates?
How about you kids at
school?
Sponsorship means...reducing
the population of semi-wild/wild stray cats by paying for
their sterilisation + micro-chip so that they can live out their lives in the towns, villages and
hamlets of Charente Maritime, unburdened by ill health or unwanted kittens, instead of
extermination
Current costs - Sterilisation female 59 euros; castration male
29 euros, microchip 32 euros. If a female is found to be
pregnant then the cost for her will be a little higher.
Statistically,
neutering ONE female cat prevents an increase in the stray cat
population of over 2,000 cats/kittens within a 3 year period.

Your reward, in addition to knowing that you have played your part in
preventing stray cat proliferation, feline disease and suffering, will be an update of his or her's life in the
wild, with photos - if possible.
Of course your cat may never be seen again, so to increase the chances, your cat will
come from your commune whenever that chance arises. You will know what your cat looks
like and where it was found/released, and so there may be a chance encounter - who knows!
If you are interested in going on to our list of provisional sponsors please CONTACT
US and we will provide you with more information about the
sponsoring process.
At a later stage in the development of our association a series of key chain medallions
will be designed and struck, in inheritance grade pewter, similar to the illustration shown here.
A special version will be gratefully presented to each sponsor.
